Studio Crashing: What is This RibbonBar I Hear?

I just want to get into Studio

I uninstalled Studio because of course I was having trouble with the Legacy studio (or whatever you guys are referring to it as). So I reinstalled it hoping that the new version would work - whatever RibbonBar is that you guys are talking about in half a dozen other threads - but it still doesn’t work for me.

I just want to know how I can fix it, using Legacy or RibbonBar I don’t care.

I just want to build.

If I were to take a guess, you would probably need to see if it is in the Registry (regedit.exe). I don’t exactly have the time to look through everything right now though, and this a lot of entries.

it’s a simple FFlag…

FastFlags that make system menu crash?

Well, there’s something else causing issues with what I had, but setting FFlagEmulationImprovements to false on its lonesome fixes SystemMenu. in [studioversion]\ClientSettings\ClientAppSettings.json put the following: {"FFlagEmulationImprovements": "False"}
