Studio is stealing focus while opening

I already opened this topic before, but I closed it, because I thought that after all this was not a problem in Studio, but in my Windows, since this also happened with other slow-loading programs that I had installed on my computer, such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere.

r

I had to reinstall my Windows 10 from scratch recently, and the problem continued.
So I opened a support request directly with Microsoft regarding this case:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-performance/large-program-is-stealing-focus-while-opening-in/c44ccec4-1475-4c78-b5a9-aa94551e6c0f

The answer from Microsoft support (just below the question in the link above) is that in fact the problem does not reside in Windows, but in the applications that I am loading (in this case, Studio).
I dug a little deeper and tested other slow loading programs and, to my surprise, Microsoft support is right: only Roblox Studio (and some Adobe programs) have this effect of stealing focus while loading.

So, I leave this bug report here again, so that Roblox can make the necessary corrections and prevent this problem from continuing to occur.

Hi, thank you for your report.

This is common OS behavior: when you open an app it opens in the foreground. Not just Windows, but all OS-es. Imagine what would happen if your app would open in the background: people would file tickets that their opened apps don’t show up. (They would be in the background of the top windows).

After all, the intention is to open the app and work in it, not to put it into the background.

I do agree, that it can be distracting that when you open a slow-opening app and tab around while opening it, and the app takes focus multiple times (Happens to me all the time when I reopen my browsers with many tabs). However it’s truly OS-default behavior.

The best solution is for us to continue our work on speeding up Studio Startup. The second best solution would be to maybe run Studio in the background.

Hi, like I said, this doesn’t happen with all slow loading apps. I could see only with Studio and Adobe. Other slow loading apps I have (like Cakewalk Sonar), doesn’t steal the focus.
So, it’s NOT a Windows problem.
Also, if you look closely at the video, you’ll see that Studio keeps stealing focus SEVERAL TIMES until it’s loaded, and it keeps stealing focus when I open a project.
This is too uncomfortable.
And besides, Microsoft says it’s not a Windows problem.
Well, I imagine none of what I’m saying is going to change anything in Studio, right?
