Studio recently started using too much resources, causing performance issues

Lately, (past weeks?) studio has started using too much resources, resulting in too much lag, even with just two empty places open.
The performance gets much worse when you open a normally-sized place with team create.
Two empty places, no team create.

With the team create place open.

I’ve provided place logs.

Expected behavior

Performance to be fixed, or whatever happened to be reverted.

Its fine for me, may be a issue with your pc. Try uninstalling Studio with revo uninstaller, theres a free version you can use. It deletes everything related to Studio and reinstall it after.

I’ve dmed it to you and yes it is still occuring

Hi thanks for the bug report!

It looks like in the first screenshot you have 3 instances open, and in the second you have 5 instances. Around ~1GB memory is expected per Studio instance, but opening a non-empty place will use more.

However, the total CPU seems a little high. What I’d recommend is re-installing Studio and removing any plugins or beta features you might’ve added.

Plugins can drastically affect the Studio performance. One thing I noticed in your logs:

HttpResponse(#313 0x1cdbd378c38) time:23795.9ms (net:12389.1ms timeInRetryQueue:0.0ms) error:3 message:HttpError: ConnectFail url:{ "http://localhost:4455/" } ip: external:1 numberOfTimesRetried:0

There are very frequent failed requests to localhost, which is likely a plugin.

Let me know if these steps help, thanks!
