Studio UI should scale for 4K

I bought a new UHD (3840x 2160) monitor a week ago. Studio doesn’t seem to scale with it properly.

Is it possible to add support for this?

While it should, I wouldn’t have expected it to scale to 4k even as well as that. On my 1080p monitor studio loves to hog the space with the side things.

Try other render things? (other DirectGL etc)

What do you mean by scale? I have a 1440p monitor (halfway between 1080p and 4k, good for the GPU) and the font isn’t too small nor is it increased. Am I missing something?

I have a 4k monitor and it’s messed up.

The issue is in the absolute pixel offsets used by ROBLOX in certain cases (icons, the left side of the numbers on text, some resize borders, et cetera), and should be pretty easy to fix with the right updated icons, images, et cetera.

It’s a QT Studio issue, although it’s not even QT Studio’s issue, just a configuration issue.

Right now my workaround is to set my monitor to 2k, log out, log back in, and to use studio in that mode.

Ohhhh.

Yeah that’s not something a company that let’s users earn $600,000 annually should ignore.

Get a 32k monitor and some of your UDims will start wrapping to -32k

Technically you get 32k (not 16:9 but still) with 8k monitors in eyefinity. Kinda curious what GPU power you’d need just to play minecraft…

32K = 476804320 = 132710400 px
Top resolution of a single Titan Z = 4096*2160 = 8847360 px
(132710400 px)/(8847360 px/1 TZ) = 15 Titan Z’s

You can buy a jaguar with that money

I couldn’t find any sites selling jaguars but that price seems reasonable.

interestingly, it’s almost exactly how much someone just payed for a frigidus.

Jaguar F-Type: $65,000 MSRVP.

Quindecuple SLI is a little less than $24,000 on Newegg.

The screenshot looks ok. What’s wrong?

The buttons don’t go all the way across is his point (I think?).

What do you mean?

His monitor allows for more items to be displayed in the ribbon but they’re still tucked into their own hidden tabs as if there wasn’t enough space to display them. I believe the point OP/Jon are trying to make is that Studio isn’t taking advantage of the new screen real estate that the 4K monitor brought to the table and is letting it go to waste.

That moment when I get referred to as Jon before my username is Jon_J.

Oh, that’s how ribbons work in general.
