So for a long time, I have heard about the Surface Appearance update being something huge, and it is revolutionary towards architectural designs, but just when I tested out the feature, it seems a bit bugged.
In the image above, I attempted to apply SurfaceAppearance on 2 pieces of mesh, one which is studio generated, the other being from this model:
The sphere, for some reason, seemed unable to intake the ColorMap, NormalMap, etc. I checked to see if that model used meshes and not unions, and it did use meshes, so I am seeking help on how I can apply SurfaceAppearance on these irregular meshes.
Also as a side note, the NormalMap seemed to only affect 4 out of the 6 surfaces for the part for some reason.
It would be appreciated if someone can help me recognize the problem thanks!
