This is Part 2 of the War Terms Template since I reached the character limit on Part 1’s document. Any new war-terms as of 5/15/2020 will be added here and updated frequently. Thank you for using my war terms template!

NOTE: This is a continuation of the war terms template part 1 document. These are all up for negotiating except for the ones that specifically state they aren’t.

  • All bases that are to be used during the war must not contain any secret entrances, crevices, paths, boosts, platforms, and so on that both sides are unaware of. This also includes no extra credit bonuses awarded to one side (if your base has a currency system) and you must announce everything about your terminal system (is there death capping, how long is the capture time, etc.) with no excuses. Basically ANY purposely built-in secret in the game (doesn’t have to be just build related). Even admin types must be announced (are you using Khol’s, Adonis, etc.) and how many you have at your base. This is to prevent any form of cheating before, during, and after scouting is done and the war has begun. Any advantages a fort has that the other side was not aware of must be immediately removed. There must be some form of evidence that shows both sides have signed off and are aware and have announced that they are fine with all the advantages and secrets. I recommend recording when you tour the enemy around your base to show that you showed them everything that is a secret. Even secrets that don’t give an advantage to either side must be announced. Failure to remove or have the approval of the opposing side on a secret that wasn’t shown before the war will result in the other side receiving 2 automatic war points per day. So if a full day passes by after it was pointed out then the other side receives 2 war points and the side that’s cheating will receive a -1 point deduction. If this goes on for more than 3 days then the opposing side can claim a war victory due to the other side cheating with their base. I’ll provide an example of this term to help people understand. Let’s say Clan A and Clan B are going to war and they’re touring each other’s bases. Clan A shows everything in their base, including every secret, meanwhile Clan B only showed one of their secrets and they didn’t show the other 3 they still had. The war begins and Clan A raids Clan B. Clan A quickly sees that Clan B did not mention anything about the secrets and are calling them out for it. Clan A is therefore protected by this war term and can claim that Clan B must remove any secrets that Clan A did not approve of or was shown. The war is paused until a resolution comes up. It wouldn’t be fair for Clan B to raid Clan A when Clan A’s base is clean and Clan B’s base isn’t. If Clan B doesn’t abide by the war term and doesn’t remove or get the approval of the secrets they didn’t show to Clan A before the war started, they will lose 1 war point per day and Clan A will recieve 2 war points per day. If Clan B was already at 0 points then they will be at negative one. However, if there’s a video showing that Clan B showed every secret to Clan A then Clan B is cleared. But for the sake of this example let’s say there’s no evidence of them showing the secrets. Now I understand there can be simple mistakes and you may not realize a few secrets in your own base or you “forgot” about some of them. However, the war term is the law and you must abide by it regardless. There’s a difference between a intentional secret and being aware of your surroundings (such as jumping on trees and climbing obvious buildings). However, this is discussing blatant secrets such as invisible bricks, cancollide off walls (you can walk through hidden walls), secret tunnels, and so on. The secrets have to be blatantly built into the fort for this war term to come into play. So to sum it all up, both sides must tell each other every secret about each other’s base. The secrets need to be actual secrets that were purposely made to aid the side that knows about it. Terminal systems are also no exception. Something as simple as climbing a tree and getting on top of a building isn’t much of a secret it’s more so environment awareness. Secrets are meant to be hidden in plain sight so that the enemy doesn’t figure stuff out like what SBE did here (go to 00:47 in the video). Just be fair with your bases. I didn’t want to explain the difference between an actual blatant secret and simple environment awareness but I did anyways since some clans want to do everything they can to cheat.

  • You must provide at least two pieces of legitimate evidence in order to kick/ban someone for stuff that isn’t easily confirmed such as exploiting, lag teleporting, constant ping spikes, reaching, etc… If it doesn’t fall under the “undeniable 100% hardcore fact” category then it falls under the “provide 2+ clips” category. Here are some examples of things you can get 100% undeniable proof of: glitching, spawn killing, uniform raiding, etc… Here are some examples of things you can get proof of but it won’t always be 100% undeniable proof (it might be sometimes but not always undeniable so it’s not 100%): exploiting, reaching, lag teleporting, constant ping spikes, etc… So I only need 1 clip that undeniably proves someone glitched through a gate for example. However, if I want to kick someone for reaching I’d have to get at least 2 really good clips that prove the person is a super suspicious user that both sides can agree to remove the user. Some instances of reach are more obvious than others though. Here’s an example of reach that only needs 1 clip for the person to be kicked. The user was no where to be seen in the clip and if you check the stud logs, he was 46 studded across the map. It is HIGHLY NECESSARY AND REQUIRED that both raid and defense leaders send each other evidence DURING the event so they can decide together as mature and reasonable individuals if the person should be kicked or not (THIS IS IN-CASE THERE’S NO THIRD PARTY/WAR MODS SO THE HOST LEADERS MUST DISCUSS IT THEN AND THERE). If you’re doing a war and it doesn’t have war mods then I recommend having a group chat with trustworthy clanners and community leaders before the war even started (both sides will need to agree on who’s in the group chat) so that if both host leaders can’t make a decision during the event they can post their evidence in the group chat to see what the group of people say about it (this is for if both host leaders can’t reach a resolution on their own, the group chat is meant to be a backup). However, if the war has third party judges/war mods then just submit all the evidence to them during OR after the event. So if a war has no war mods then ALL EVIDENCE must be sent DURING THE EVENT between the host leaders and if the host leaders can’t reach a resolution then they will use the backup group chat for a final decision. If the war has war mods then ALL EVIDENCE can be sent DURING OR AFTER the event. Failure to abide by this war term will result in a war point to the opposing side. Always present evidence and if you kick someone and don’t present evidence (even if you won or lost it doesn’t matter) then you’re violating this war term as well.

  • (This term is for if you have war mods). War mods can only enforce the war terms. They are referees. They are not babysitters. The decisions they make can always be contested. The war mods decisions are not the end-all-be-all as there have been many scenarios where war mods made the wrong call. This also applies to war mods/one side attempting to void a war. Just because the war mods leave does not mean the war itself is over. Clans have functioned without war mods for more than a decade. If you can’t operate without a war mod to babysit you to continue your war then just surrender.

  • Both sides will get the same amount of defenses and raids per day. Make sure war times allow for a balanced amount of events. If war times do not allow for an even number of events for both sides then they must be revised on the same war day (preferably before it concludes so the one side lacking in events can get the remaining few to make it even). The war will not continue until it’s revised.

  • If more than 3 people crash at once from only one side then the event must be paused (if the event is reset) to bring those 3 people back in or bring in 3 replacement people to the same team. Then once they bring 3 people in, they will have 1/3 of the winning team (or if there’s picture/video proof of however many were at term then that amount will be placed at term) on term while everyone else starts from spawn. If the event is DC/Fade/RB then the event doesn’t need to be paused and the 3 spots can be filled by the team who lost their players while the event is still ongoing. Why? I’ve seen wars where one side is close to winning a raid and they had 6 people crash all at once on their side, losing their numbers against the enemy and ultimately losing the event with no explanation as to why people who have never crashed before have suddenly crashed all at once. This is to help prevent that from happening. If one side’ leader(s) are caught encouraging crashing and asking people to crash the enemy then the opposing side wins the war by default (because you can’t really demote a leader). If an HR is caught doing it then the leader must blacklist them from the war and demote them from HR status for the duration of the war. If the leader refuses to do this then that’s quite literally harboring of a cheater and they forfeit the war.

The list of terms is updated so that it covers both parties respectfully and maintains a positive and mutually beneficial war experience. Most of the terms are open for negotiations, however, some aren’t as they’re just common sense and are necessary. We hope you enjoyed looking over both parts. And as always, stay true to your heart of gold Celvestian.
