Tearista Handbook

Introduction
We expect every Tearista to follow all the rules and be able to provide the best service to all customers. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask one of our HRs.

Remember, if anyone ignores or disobeys the Rules and Policies. You will be given a strike that could end up in a demotion.

The handbook consists of:

  1. Regulations
  2. Attire
  3. Punishments
  4. Serving and Expectations

Regulations

All Tearistas must follow and obey all the rules stated below. If anyone ignores or disobeys our Regulations and Policies, a strike will be given. This applies to everyone regardless of rank including High Ranks.

• Must comply with the Code of Conduct
• Do not troll in any way.
• Always respect everyone including customers and other workers.
• Always use grammar and correct punctuation while on duty.
• Always have common sense and behave properly.
• Do not disrespect your high ranks.
• No bragging or hinting for promotions.
• You must stay for at least a week in order to gain eligibility for Senior Tearista training.


Attire

Tearistas are required to wear formal and proper attire while on duty. Any inappropriate attire is strictly forbidden such as racist, homophobic, and discriminatory clothing and et cetera. It is also important to use a realistic torso as long the uniform is visible.

You are required to wear Tealive’s Long Sleeve Tee with Apron paired with Tealive Slacks. As soon you enter the kitchen, it will automatically wear you the uniform. If it doesn’t, you can manually wear it from the Staff Basement. Uniforms are compulsory for everyone including High Ranks while on duty. Failure to follow the attire code will result in a strike.

Here are the accessories that are not allowed:
• Big accessories such as wings
• Hats that cover your whole face
• Unrealistic hairs such as tomahawks


Punishments

Warnings
All customers who broke any rules such as trolling or harassing will be given a total of 3 warnings. We expect all Tearistas to handle trollers and exploiters substantially. Please contact any High Ranks in the cafe by using the command “!help” or in our communication server. Evidence is also needed to support your report. Trollers will face a server ban while exploiters will face a game ban and immediate blacklist from all Tealive games.


Serving and Expectations

Hand-to and Interactions
The hand to command should be used to hand items to those who order from your counter. To use this command, press the H key on your keyboard and type out the customer’s username while holding the item you wish to give. If you’re working on a mobile device, tap the GUI on the top left of your screen and type out the customer’s username while holding the item you wish to give, and press enter.

For serving, you are required to have your own greeting. Do not forget your greeting and have professional interaction with your customer. You need a positive and confident greeting when first introducing yourself. Please note that your greeting and outro do not need to be as detailed as the example below and you are allowed to customize it such as adding emojis or emotes. Be creative!

TIP: Use the command “!notepad” to write notes in-game which makes it easier to copy and paste your greeting. It is also recommended to use a software called CTRL+C which is available in the Microsoft Store only for Windows 10 users.

Treatment
Unitea Customers and Ambassadors deserve the top priority in services. However, we strive to make every customer’s experience pleasant and fulfilling, and we treat our customers as we treat one another, with respect and dignity. This means, for example, that we never harass or discriminate against our customers.

Serving

  1. Click the cup giver.
  2. Select the cup in your inventory.
  3. Fill in the water.
  4. Fill in the correct flavor.
  5. Press H or the hand-to GUI on the screen.
  6. Type the customer’s username and press enter.
