Termination Exploit (5 Accounts Deleted)

We are a group of developers and managers who have essentially ran one of the most reputable “e-leagues” in Roblox’s sports genre for the better part of 10 years, named PRS (Professional Roblox Soccer). We function as a closed community with limited accessibility to the public, which has consequentially turned being part of our community as a considerable achievement inside the genre.

on 2025-05-12T09:38:00Z my account was terminated under the following reason:

Initially confused as to what might have caused it, I looked into the Violations & Appeals panel, just to find that a recent plugin I uploaded was removed for:

My initial appeals on the plugin itself were declined without any further explanation on what more specifically violated the terms of service; leaving me to guess what it could have been. I then contacted Roblox Support through Roblox Support, where as a EU resident invoked my rights to the Digital Services Act (DSA). As of writing this, I’m yet to receive a formal response.

on 2025-05-14T01:06:00Z two of my colleagues (moniacally & nullstrafe) were terminated as well for the following reasons:

moniacally:

nullstrafe:

Unlike my situation; when both of the aforementioned verified the Violations & Appeals panel; only to find there was no registry of any content that violated the Roblox’ Terms of Service.

I would like to point out that two additional colleagues of mine (jothez & oxIayde) seem to currently also be targeted by the moderation system itself, as multiple of their experiences (which haven’t been updated for several years in most cases) are now under review with no particular reason, as all of the aforementioned don’t have any sort of malicious content or a playerbase to begin with.

oxIayde:

jothez:

Update 1:
Additionally, our 2 bot accounts have also been now terminated (PRSRequestBot & PRS_AudioBot). This marks both the fourth and fifth account termination.
This is the ban message on PRSRequestBot:

Given the quick succession between the termination of all of the accounts associated to the three highest roles in the Roblox group’s hierarchy, and the fact that this unfortunately isn’t the first attempted sabotage we’ve suffered as a collective, we have all the reasons to believe that this is a targeted attack against our group as a whole. Frustratingly, we have been sitting here, forced to delay several projects for the sake of writing e-mails and posts regarding this situation, playing a waiting game while communication with the moderation team has just been underwhelming.

I would like to reiterate that all of us have had over 12+ years of presence in this platform, and some of us even use this platform as a source of income. With all due respect to Roblox as a platform, it is outrageous that these kinds of attacks on us are not just possible, but this difficult and bothersome to even resolve. It has now been over 72 hours since I’ve been banned, 24 hours since my colleagues have been banned. All I had was an automated response in a declined appeal, and my colleagues are yet to even receive any response from the moderation team.

At this point, it has been in our consideration whether having to endure such poor and exploitable moderation is worth our time developing future projects that had a lot of potential for revitalising one of the oldest communities in Roblox that has slowly been decaying over-time.

Finally, I would like to reiterate that by releasing this post and trying to contact Roblox’s moderation team to begin with, we are merely fighting to resume the normality that was taken from us. There will be no compensation, no accountability, no repercussions for the damage that has been done to us and our community. The very most we can get from this situation is to simply reinstate our accounts and await for the next sabotage attempt despite our past attempts to contact Roblox’s Staff team for these exact reasons in the past. If this isn’t precarious treatment of members of the platform simply using it for video-game and community creation as intended, I don’t know what is, and it’s painful that this kind of behaviour against us is so easily rewarded.

Your images don’t appear accessible

They are accessible in the private message. No clue why those ones aren’t visible here.

Hi,

You probably need to reupload your images to make it accessible here

You might need to wait a week or less to actually get a response, the appeals team is really busy i noticed

I have a very small feeling this is associated with this bug report:

This was initially reported for the adonis model but appearantly it does work for any empty baseplate after clicking publish or reporting the place. This is not a duplicate bug report as far as i know

Good luck!

None of the games Content Deleted by oxIayde & jothez use adonis admin. Me, nullstrafe & moniacally don’t use the toolbox or freemodels in-general.

The private message and images are non-accessible. If you want help with this, reupload the images. I look in the PM and it said, “Oops! That page is private.” So yeah please just reupload the images otherwise the bug report will be useless.
Edit: The images issue has been fixed except the PM.

This does truly suck if this is true however seeing how you’ve been here for the last 10 years I am sure you understand just as well as me all the drama along side this platform for those years including the moderation side of things.

I have seen people report that adonis is getting people warned and banned which if others are using this system (I know you’re not) they should remove it asap.

Now for you this is pretty sad though but I don’t see what invoking a DSA will really do in this situation.

You’re invoking something that is really only enforeced in the EU to an company in a completely different continent, I would get it if they’re European but they’re American and American law is so much more loose so I am doubtful you may get far however who knows. I am British and know mine and American a lot better than European so do inform me.

Just to be clear, I’m from Finland.

Digital Services Act applies to all services offered within the EU, also if the service provider is established outside the European Union.

You can find more information on Digital Services Act here to be more informed:

Hello,

I had previously posted a thread on X about this issue and while the initially affected victims were unterminated, the method itself was not patched - it seems “TTTT” and “user091441” are still misusing some moderation vulnerability to falsely terminate people for money.

I am unsure whether I am allowed to add a link to an X post so I will attach this image of it instead.

Other affected people are: bmwg80owner paranoid829 IIlIlIlIlIlIlllIllI bunny3839344 onlyrealbunny moneromagnet777 and 11010110101l - There are possibly more than those but I do not have full access to the resources unlike Roblox.

All of them were terminated the same day for inappropriate behavior without ever violating any rules.

Exploits like these are incredibly dangerous to developers livelihoods on ROBLOX. It seperates ROBLOX from platforms like Steam, who consistently support developers with issues, and give them chances to resolve it before escalating.

ROBLOX’s automatic moderation is becoming a huge problem, where human moderators who can easily see past these exploits, are basically never checking these potentially catastrophic and incorrect bans. Developers like the ones for PRS should be protected from exploits like these, as they host and actively update a game for the community by the community, leading to enjoyable playing experiences and a way to connect with others safely through fun.

It’s amazing how exploits like these are even found to begin with, and its a serious problem for ROBLOX, as they’re now being used to sell “services” for people’s livelihoods to be affected severely.

My heart and support goes out to OssieNomae and the PRS team

A quick Follow-Up, there was another person by the name of kstarvibez who was terminated for his Starter Place, he has never edited any of his experiences yet still received a termination for the same reason as everyone else. This alone should signify the invalidity of those moderations.

Oh hi zen, i was just thinking about you and the tweet you made not so long ago, is it possible do it again? this is heavily damaging our good old community and support seems to be lacking humans…

Adding up to that, i investigated, got along 4krime and sys and apparently the prices have lowered down to 150 per terminations, which opened the market to ALOT of people hence why it is heavily abused right now

not to forget, this is a simple reverse prompt making roblox’s moderation ai think ur like a monster or a demon or the biggest criminal on the platform

Hey @OssieNomae - so sorry this happened to you. This is inexcusable and should not happen.

We’re working hard to make moderation more robust, improve appeals, etc. There’s no good reason for you to be blocked from work because something like this happened.

Unfortunately, I have to close this post, as it’s not really a bug report per se, more of a ‘moderation request.’ However, I will send this post over to the team so they’re aware. Thanks for writing this up  and I hope we can improve the moderation flow going forwards.

Hey everyone - huge apologies again. At this moment, Ossie and all other accounts impacted by this exploit have been restored and we have fixed the underlying exploit. Please continue reaching out if you continue to see this issue or other issues like it coming up—these reports are a critical part of flagging issues for us to address.
