Are you able to edit this new snow terrain with the terrain editor?
If so, im guessing you accidentally terrained this area in the distance when you were working on your new terrain part.

Check this out similar issue to yourā¦ looks to be a Roblox issue right now. I also saw another post similar but it was taken down for being in wrong category. But this one is new:
I tried finding the post where people were chiming in, but roblox took it down for being in the wrong categoryā¦ but yeah, issues with terrain not saving, and terrain doing wierd thingsā¦ look at this post too:
It also happened to me in studio today, but i didnt need to publish new so i ignored it and left. Hopefully its fixed soon on roblox end.
Yes I do. And no I did not edited it because even when I revert to another version it appears

Expected Behavior
When I edit my terrain, the changes should carry over to when I play/test my place.
Actual Behavior
When I make changes to my terrain and then play/test the place, the changes are reverted.
