Will accounts be banned for inappropriate responses or will Roblox just filter out and delete those?
Imagining seeing “The developer of this experience has requested to x” is pretty hilarious and definitely an ego booster.
However, don’t you think you’d get a ton of feedback while in-game? Question for staff, if you plan to implement this in the future, how would we manage it, assuming it’s not just gonna be a push-notification at the top of the screen. There should probably be some sort of feedback manager that we can view on the Talent Hub and Ingame somewhere, perhaps in the hamburger menu with a notification (like when someone chats).
so excited about this. Historically i’ve paid very close attention to my group wall and have made an effort for years to read and thoroughly respond to as many requests / questions / reports / so on as I have been able to. So naturally i was a bit disappointed to see < 13 users barred from this feature. This certainly assuages some of that disappointment. That said, it doesn’t solve for the reciprocal feedback I like to give players. As such i’d appreciate the ability to respond to these players, even if it means keeping them anonymous. regardless, great feature.
Happy to hear it is coming to the website
This is a perfect update. Thank you very much Creator Hub Team! I’m really looking forward to the feedback dashboard.
I think it might be cool if it would be possible to optionally display some of that feedback publicly, on the game description page. Almost kinda like JustEat reviews.
please we need this asap
Thank you for making this 13+ as I am not interested in seeing feedback like “Pls give me robux!” or “This game too hard for me! BOOO!” although it’s going to happen anyway with the 8 year olds that put their birth year as 1925.
And please start looking into accounts like glitter_glamm (glimmer_glamm) who are using like bots on their games like Glide Race, Human Cannon, Sword Fighters Simulator, etc. Romonitor is one of the best places to see this happen in real time to games that just came out. And the games begging for likes is just embarrassing. I find the decision to remove CCU from recommended while still showing rating as a mistake when you have people manipulating the system.
Super cool feature. This will make getting feedback from players who dont interact with your communities or socials (which is a lot) much easier, although I have one big question.
Like all of the other statistics and analytics dashboards, for games that are owned by an account (not a group) and have developers added to the game, will these people be able to see this menu + all of the other analytics dashboards? This really hurts development for these games and developers who work like this because it restricts all of this to only be viewed by one person.
why can’t people under 13 leave additional feedback? i dont see how this could be a problem? i do however think devs should be able to sort feedback based on:
age
playtime in your game
good / bad
and also mobile, computer, etc
This is going to be revolutionary. Being able to see feedback on how I can improve (even if I haven’t released my project yet oops) is going to save me lots of time brainstorming (even if I already have all of the updates planned out oops), as well as feedback describing bugs (even if I’m too lazy to fix them oops).
I’ve been making games for years, and none get traction, but with this feature, I might be able to get some testers and look for feedback to make my game better, to the point where players play it. Thank you, the whole Roblox staff have been working on great updates for so long now!
Will other players be able to see reviews by other players and will reviews have down votes and upvotes from players experienceing the same thing as the reviewer?
This is an amazing change. After you closed user-to-user messaging, there wasn’t a real good way for this kind of feedback. Glad you’re adding a replacement!
I’m excited to see this fully release. I’ve had troubles contacting developers about bugs, and just general feedback, for a while, and with the deprecation of messaging, i was getting a little bit concerned.
…Of course, there’s always third party services where you can reach them, like on their Guilded, Discord, Twitter or other socials, but I don’t find those as convenient, and it always feels a little stalkerish, for some reason.
We need a Feedback api. Player can send a Feedback, but online devs can read.
I’m very pleased with the addition of this feature! It’s a great way for players to express their opinions and for developers to get more detailed feedback from players to improve their experiences. Excellent!
Well needed for a long time, this will help my projects exponentially. Thank you!
This feature provides a great opportunity to consider feedback when planning future updates for the game. It’s such a valuable addition, and I’m really looking forward to it! Thank you so much!
This is a really great update! This will help devs out a lot!
Are there any plans for this being added to clothing as well?
It would also be cool if you were to add a system to see recent reviews (last 30 days) on games. For players to better judge how good a game is at that moment.
