Though, It’d be nice to toggle the presence of carousels/lists such as Recommended For You, even Today’s Picks. While the banner does fit in well, it adds on to the clutter of the home-page, which can only be remedied with the use of browser extensions. Which is a bummer, as I prefer the app over the browser, at least, more than I used to.
“I will get more disappointed.” It’s literally inevitable. Remember they did SOLS RNG on picks for 1 month straight. And look here “SHREK Swap Tycoon” is back on picks. GAME THAT HAS HAD ABOUT 20 ACTIVE. (By DreamWorks company) Because it clearly has poor metrics its just being favorited on picks. Its not fair… And won’t be fair…
Thanks for your question @AVeryFancyDoctor ! Dynamic ranking and personalization are key to the user experience, and we want to make sure any new additions to Home complement that. We’ll be testing this banner in various positions to see how it best enhances the overall experience.
Thanks for your questions, @Crazyblox ! We understand your concerns. This banner is intended for special, infrequent occasions, such as platform events and brand activations, and potentially advertisements in the future. We’re committed to providing a fair and transparent discovery experience for all creators. The banner’s placement is still being tested, and your feedback is appreciated. We’ll share more details as testing progresses.
Yeah and? Whats the problem with that line I said? I just said I will get more disappointed if they advertise experiences that are already popular. Plus im so shocked that the Roblox staff actually responded to our opinions. I have more information from my post that is replying to the staffs post on here.
Im glad to know that the banner will be used for events and brand activations. But in the very rare times where there will be something besides events and brand activations, I really don’t want those very rare times to be advertisements of experiences that are already popular. I get that you guys are trying to push out popular content to users that have joined but advertise the non-popular experiences too, there might be non-popular experiences that were might be interested in.
What, that’s what brand activations mean?! Ok, but kinda sad that some developers under 13 cannot mostly advertise anymore and remember this there is under 13 developers out there and they cannot advertise their projects/experiences because of how access to basic tools for advertisement has significantly decreased for them. I play Developer Hub on Roblox to advertise my projects and it works. That experience on Roblox is mostly the only tool that other people on Roblox that are less than 13 years old can use to advertise their experiences/projects. I know the reason why it has decreased so much. Simple. Roblox is trying to make it way safer for <13 users on the platform which is the reason why tools for <13 developers are often scarce. Back in the day, tools to advertise your experiences/projects were much easier to access that didn’t require 13+ accounts. Sad that a lot of bad people came on here and caused all of this to happen.
i think they’ll show the position manually since it’ll be used for ads and events
if I’m right its a replacement to the category they create where it’s the same game with four different images, for example, the one used during the hunt
