TextBoxFocused and TextBoxFocusReleased fire at the same time with Roblox chat textbox

as you can see no prints, when i let go of the chat both 1 and 2 fire

After testing it doesn’t fire at all for the new chat system but it does fire properly it seems on normal text boxes

Thanks for following up on this. The behavior you’re describing is how it’s intended to work. The new text chat system is isolated from some APIs for safety and security. If you observe an issue like this again please feel free to reach back out.
