I loaded my aircraft and applied a texture to it to find that it is unusually low resolution, on my other aircrafts they are more vividly sharp and I have done nothing different in terms of unwrapping and texturing.

What the texture (image) resolution? You probably need to use a better resolution, like 2048x2048 pixels, for example.
1920x1080 (normal as the other aircrafts that I’ve had no problem with)
