Game Full Credits: VVG's "Survive a Plane Crash" Credits
Hi guys, many of you may be interested in how much goes into making a game on Roblox. This thread will detail a lot of the development into our game. Thoughts as we were developing it, etc.
This game was thought up when listening to a song by the heavy metal band Scorpions’ song “Dancing with the Moonlight”
The lyrics that got me were

I immediately went to search for plane crash games on Roblox, and there were no new ones. It seems like the genre got stuck in 2012, with the same basic plane models and quick non meaningful gameplay. I knew that morning we had to be the ones to make it in VVG’s style. With Roblox Britannic just finished in October 2019, it was a perfect time to start a new project.
With over 250 images, each month has been put into it’s own segment to hide/unhide
**NOVEMBER 2019 (The big stretch)**
We started the game on November 1st, 2019
@Inyo22 has already started modeling our Lifeboat Airlines plane
Meanwhile trying to figure out art style of the ground. We eventually went with actual google map images

December was hectic, we finally posted more dev on the 20th, with the jet bridge

I also took a flight this month and recorded the audio which is used in the game

I ran into a lot of trouble with the methods we were using for flying the plane. It was a very stressful time because we sunk 2 months into this game so far. I took this as a challenge and gained inspiration from others to make sure this gets done!

There are so many minor glitch fixes and features for all these features, I will speed up the dev posts a bit skipping over the details. We talk A LOT in the dev chats and this would go on for hours if we posted them all.
