So, for a bit of quick background, this game is heavily inspired by prtty much evry bordr gam evr, created by Mr_Wiggles. This game is supposed to also have the usage and feel of improper grammar/spelling, along with a simplistic/“stupid-ish” feel.
The Grat Cafe
The Grat Cafe is a project I am working on as I write this. The goal within the game is to make it seem chaotic with gameplay. There are multiple teams in which have different objectives. The main sides are the staff, costomers, and raidrs.
I’ll try to get into detail about each vital aspect of the game.
Staff Teams
Casher: Essentially the cashiers within the cafe. They are in charge of taking orders, and communicating with the cookuhs in order to get costomers their food.
Cleaner Person: The janitors within the cafe. They generally focus on simply cleaning up the messes within the cafe, such as puddles that are tedious. Anyone can slip on the puddles, thus causing a bit of chaos.
Cookuh: The chefs within the cafe who must produce food when requested to. They must also gather ingredients at the storage area, if they run out of ingredients to use.
Securty: The staff who make sure security is enforced within the cafe. They deal with rowdy costomers, or hostile raidrs from the outside of the cafe.
Manger: People with authority that are handpicked. (Keep in mind, all teams but Manger and Couchman are accessible to everyone.) Mangers are in charge of making sure the staff are being productive and functional.
Couchman: The owner (me), essentially a team for myself to gain access to everything, and do what I wish.
Neutral Teams
Costomer: A team where the objective is to find food in order to survive. The recommended way to find food is to eat at the cafe.
Antagonist Teams
Raidr: A team that exists purely to cause chaos. Essentially raidrs are people who have the objective to fight the cafe, or steal from the storage area.
Items
Plane Burger, Fwies, Chez Burger: All consumable food items that can be served through the cafe.
Punc, Sporc: Weapons given to combative teams. This provides a combat gameplay to the game.
Brom: A cleaning tool given to the cleaner guy/lady to clean puddles.
Vital Gameplay Features
Hunger System: A system where everyone needs to eat food, or they will die of hunger. This can give costomers a boost to actually eat.
Cash System: A system where greem paper, or GP is the money. Costomers are requires to pay for their food, staff is paid for their work efforts, and raidrs stealing can be given GPs as well.
This is a basic summary on the majority of what this game has to offer.
If you want to see the actual game, you can find it here. Keep in mind,
- The game is most definitely not finished. I still have plenty to do.
- As mentioned already, expect bugs and missing mechanics.
- Development updates are kept in the Discord at the social links of the game.
Now, back to the reason of why I’m here. It would be great to receive some feedback on this project of mine. Generally, this is one of first laid out games I have set, so I’m bound to be missing some key features that are required.
I’ll attempt to answer any quick questions that may be asked: (Obviously ask your own question if it isn’t answered here.)
Q: How many developers are working on the game? A: One, myself. I am working on all of the assets. (I wish to keep it that way.)
Q: Do you plan on advertisements? A: Once I have the funds, and the game is at least in Beta, then yes. (The game is currently in Alpha.)
Q: How does one receive access to the Manger team? A: Similar to PMEBGA, there’ll likely be a tryout system to become Manger.
Anyway, again, if anyone could give some feedback, that would be greatly appreciated.
