Okay, so a lot of users want it gone, a lot don’t. So here’s my suggestion. When the game starts, give players a big notification telling them the hotkeys for graphics and for quitting the game (make a hotkey to quit the game). Then, require them to press a hotkey or click a button to close it, or hide some sorta code in there so they’re required to read it. Hell, tell them they can press [insert hotkey here] to view the notification again.
And this would only happen for games with the menu off. I’d love to here opinions on this, as I’m sure there are some problems with it, but I feel like this could work.
I just said in the other thread: This will never happen.
The menu button / escape menu are not going away.
Thanks for not considering it at all.
It’s not happening ~= No one considered it.
Thanks for not considering that, and thanks for the undue sarcasm. Try including some respect in your post next time, maybe add a pinch of forethought.
Sorry if it seems a bit too short of a comment, but I’ve gone over the topic in depth in other threads before.
I’m giving you the realistic answer, which is that there is basically a 0% chance of you being able to remove the core game menu any time in the foreseeable future, so you might as well not waste much discussion on the topic.

There’s no need for you to be sorry, that was just me and my usual ignorance. Although, I still don’t see why there can’t be something like a check box in the in-game settings that allows you to hide the menu button.
Like a custom image for the button? o.o Would completely eliminate the issue with the menu button sticking out like a sore thumb with custom UI.
game.StarterGui:SetMenuButtonTexture("rbxassetid://18662154")
--> AAAH WHERE'S THE MENU BUTTON?! (It's actually invisible. That decal there is 100% transparent)
