Why does it have bones? Just curious to see if they are crucial.

Its for the whole animation process, Or something like that. I just followed a tutorial and the rig they had had bones so

i really dont see why u need bones when u can rig it in studio

Beats me, I just take the rig into blender, then I rig it there so it has bones. So that way I can animate it.
Should I not be doing this?

How should I do it instead? Cause like I dont know what Im doing

Rig it in studio, not blender, no point to be using armatures considering they are segmented meshes; as for the solution, just delete the bones. put the rig to the center of the blender workspace

export FBX with the scale set to 0.01

But how do I create animations for it and everything? Thats the main thing I cant figure out!

Know any free rig plugins? But like once I rig it then what do I do? Id assume I import it into Blender but thats as much as I can guess

My preferred plugin is ‘RigEdit Lite’, and you can just use roblox animator, moon animator, blender animation might be too complex to start out; you can always try but make sure to follow tutorials/guides along with using the blender plugin meant for blender animation.

But how do I get the rig into blender, animate it there, then get the animation for the rig into roblox? Thats mainly what I need to do,

Ok so I am kind of struggling to figure out how all of this stuff works and all so I am gonna ask more questions ig

First off. I have Rig edit lite, I can rig it just fine, But how do I get the actual animation? Cause you never specify how to get an animation from blender to roblox. And I dont know any plugins that would do that sooo.

Ok here is an explanation that I definitely made on how to apply them.

To apply a transform select the Apply sub-menu from the Object menu or use the shortcut Ctrl-A and select the appropriate transform to apply . The Operator panel lets you choose the combination of transformations to apply.

Transformations are Position, Rotation, and Scale.

Just insert the rig using the R6 rig builder and animate it with the default animation editor.
