Thoughts about my music

I made multiple tracks for my game Bizz Wizz and The Seven Pineapples.

Definitely needs some work but it seems pretty decent if this is one of your first songs, I would suggest making it fade out quicker because 24 seconds is a long time for a song to end, maybe not make it start off so fast and loud but instead make it start of quietly and slowly get faster and louder.

really good use of music and all and I get your tryna make it 8 bit, except you went so extra with it, my ears hurt. make the 8 bit just one instrument, not so many cluttered. i love the vibe of the beat and them music itself tho

FL Studio must’ve caused the reverb to play longer. I’ll fix this

Should I possibly just tone some of the instruments down? I can kind of tell when the guitars came that everything got fairly loud.

p.s, the guitars really fit the song and I wanna keep them and find another way to fix it.

Goes hard. Not as hard as Travis Scott tho.

What do you think about this?
Still want it to be a bit loud at the beginning because it’s supposed to give the player more of a feel of what’s going to go on in the game.

Also just to note, FL Studio continuesly is making it so that the reverb of a track continues, so I’m just gonna have to fix that in the final version of the game and song.

I find it great! Good work! Continue like this!

is it a horror game? cos if so yeah it’ll work

No, its supposed to be a RPG like SM64 game to put it in simple words

SM64 is an RPG???

also, what i meant was like you needed to tone down the 8 bit, so its not so loud

In my opinion, It’s too much. Background music should light and easy to listen to. As it is background muisc. Like when you enter a boss fight you hear a moment of “doom doom doom” then it goes into something easyer to listen to for the actual fight.

I’m not saying it’s bad. I’m saying at the moment it would get old quick.

Oh no, what I meant by that was I wanted the game to be like SM64, while having RPG Elements.

I kind of understand the first thing that you said, but the issue is that I really don’t understand the second part. I got lost at “Then move sounds and reactions form the “instruments” along with the normal hit sounds and sound reactions.” and I’m not sure what you mean after that.

Also, can you provide some examples that I can use to have better background music? and also, what would you consider as “Background Music” in this?

Like pretty much any fighting game. How they blend the sounds in with the music while fighting.

“what would you consider as “Background Music” in this?”
A blend of soft and heavy on the immersion.

Version 1: I think its good, but it seems a little too overwhelming and more like some sounds were added for layering rather than to make it sound good. Try to make it more harmonic. Otherwise, it slaps.

Version 2: Much better, the random noises seem to be gone. It flows well. I think this would fit your game better.

Definitely better than the original but you gotta fix that reverb

i disagree
background music should be absolute bangers
