Thoughts needed on my first model

Hey developers, I have been working on a small vest. It is my first ROBLOX model, and I’d love some constructive criticism, tips and suggestions.

Modelling isn’t really my thing, but it is a fun thing to do in my free time, so I’d like to read some tips to add, change or support my modelling.

Looked okay for the most part, mostly just needs more detail overall.

For your first part, it looks okay. However, It misses some (important) details.
Do you have more screenshots of the other sides of the model?

Well, it’s interesting for a start, though it’s more recommendable if you could place some more equipment on the vest, maybe add a radio on the upper side of the vest or it’s belt.
Overall, it’s interesting to see your first model, as it looks good and very well-made even for the first time.

First of all, decent job could you please take screenshots of different angles of the asset? If the back isn’t finished I would continue to improve it more before asking for criticism or feedback, add more parts to help support holding around the characters upper body if you included more details around the model itself.

I would also work on fixing up the didn’t appearance a little bit, I wouldn’t recommend adding radios on the top corner of the vest since it’s no a police vest or any vest that feature those additional objects that isn’t needed in my opinion. insofar that there is more space for improvements have you included more belts or outlines around the vest to cover most of the empty spots.

Right now, it’s a good model, if the vest is left alone with the front view I would continue to work on the side and the back part of the vest.

Otherwise it’s decent for a first attempt well done but in the future provide more then one screenshot of the model.

Looks great but as many said it needs more details.

For your first model, this is awesome! I really liked the low poly style you went for, I do however recommend that you slim down the bottom part a bit, as it looks a bit off, other than that great job!

It looks little bland, I think adding some details will make it pop but you are getting there! :muscle:
