Tool grip changes affect the mesh deformation of player rig

Reproduction Steps

System information:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950
CPU: AMD A8-6600K APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics (4 CPUs), ~3.9GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM

Expected Behavior

On normal rigs without mesh deformations, tools like LinkedSword seem to work fine.
There’s no problems at all.

Actual Behavior

When using a mesh deformation rig and changing the tool grip, you can notice the disappearance of mesh deformation for a split second.
It can be seen when doing the lunge attack for the “ToySword” tool (rapid clicking).

I have noticed that disabling the weld, also has an effect on the visual bug.
