Tree Optimization?

Hello developers!

I was playing a game called “Berry Avenue” and I noticed they were able to create a system where trees get less detailed the farther you get away from them. I’m assuming this helps with memory consumption. Does anyone know how to achieve this?

These are typically called LODs (Level Of Detail). Big games outside of roblox tend to have these.
