To give credit where credit is due, this is a clear bug if what you’re saying is happening is the truth. Karolisms’ case, on the other hand, is not. I did infact appeal the item, and my appeal got denied.
It’s worth noting this permission revocation system is essentially the saving grace of UGC moderation right now
I agree for 1:1’s, but it’s a bit strange when you are the one deciding people’s fate by somehow convincing Roblox Staff that my items are spam.

(I use the support tickets as when when appealing decals/meshes that get automatically removed, when using the appeal portal I often found that my would get immediately rejected automatically, but felt they were more fairly reviewed and reinstated when sending in a support ticket)
Thanks for the context. We’re investigating why the ticket review took so long in the support ticket flow. We have a strict response time for these requests to prevent refunds.
The appeal portal should follow the same review process as the support ticket flow while providing more detailed information. We will also investigate why the appeal portal creates friction for creators.

With the new DSA report system, items that get deleted don’t automatically get an appeal panel in the Appeals Portal anymore, unlike before. A lot of items have been deleted through DSA in the past few weeks, so these complaints are pretty valid. The only channel that could be used to restore UGC access has become useless now.
It seems like they could add an appeal option for DSA-deleted items in the portal, which would help. But outside of that specific channel, restoring UGC permissions is nearly impossible.
I’ve already brought up the issue with Roblox Support, and they clearly said they can’t help. So, if your item gets reported through DSA, your only option is to wait for the time to pass.
Edit: I was wrong about that. When items are restored through Roblox Support, the UGC access punishment that comes with it also gets revoked because the item itself becomes available again. They’ve already thought of this, so it’s not really a big deal. I just wasn’t aware that this existed.
Still, there should be a quick option to appeal for assets deleted via DSA, and I’ll create a bug report for this if I get less busy.
This isn’t entirely true. I got some catalog items deleted via DSA and the Appeals Portal worked just fine for their issue, disregarding the fact that they changed the reason to ‘Spam’ when the text was something endangering children:
Point is, the option was created to appeal via the portal. I’m not sure what your issue is, maybe when there’s many deletions happening the portal bugs out and stops creating tabs for each of them? Or maybe it’s now intended that deletions for ‘Spam’ are not appealable via the portal, due to the huge amount of obviously copied faces that were incorrectly restored through here?
Your item was removed due to “Child Endangerment,” not “Spam,” so I’m confused about how you’re making this comparison. Since the reason was different, maybe that’s why the appeal panel didn’t appear in the first place. They may have changed the reason later, but the initial reason determines whether an appeal panel is created or not. For some reasons, you can never appeal, for example.
I’ve experienced that UGCs initially removed for “Spam” didn’t have an appeal panel.
Even when only one item was removed, I still didn’t have an appeal option, which also disproves your other argument. That’s why this is still a valid issue for a bug report.
Not to mention, everyone I’ve spoken to who’s been affected by this issue also didn’t have appeals created, so the problem isn’t specific to me.
Okay. Well to me, it looks like the appeal portal no longer allows appeals for items deleted under the “Spam” category by design. These items are almost always knockoffs of Roblox-owned assets, and I’m certain that just a few weeks ago, appeals for them were still possible. However, I strongly suspect that due to a number of incompetent moderators restoring obvious copies (as evidenced by your own bug report), part of the solution was to remove the appeal option for “Spam” deletions. This change ensures that all appeals for these types of assets go through Roblox Support, where more experienced moderators are likely handling them.
I can’t say this with absolute certainty, but given the timeline of events and the fact that the appeal feature still works for most other deletion reasons, this seems like a deliberate change as a result of recent issues. Hopefully, an engineer can confirm.
I’m not sure if this is the same issue as the one by YxllowFire but overnight my uploader account was suddenly moderated 4 times instantly for the same item, which caused the account to be almost terminated instantly due to the way bans stack. (It got a 7 day ban, just one from account termination)
Out of curiosity, what was the deletion reason?

Specifically, the review process for bundles is taking a very long time. I submitted appeals for my dynamic head bundles 7 and 5 days ago via Roblox Support Ticket 113175749 and Roblox Support Ticket 113015633, and I just received a response. Considering the fact that refunds are automatically issued after a week, is there a possibility to speed up the appeal process for bundles?
In fact, the initial reply comes quite quickly, usually within a day, stating “We have forwarded your request for further review. Our team will follow-up with you as soon as possible.” However, the team member responsible for reviewing bundles seems to take a long time to respond. Moreover, when they do reply, it doesn’t just take a week—there’s also the fact that the bundle will be restored within 3 days, making the situation even worse as refunds will be issued.
This process should be shortened, and I would like to know if any steps will be taken, as this represents a significant issue costing millions of Robux.
Having the same issue as you here, I appealed a dynamic head bundle 10 days ago on ticket 112820212, after 10 days, I never received a reply. I resubmited it around 4 days ago and it was forwarded but no reply back after 3 days.
I also appealed another one around the same time on ticket 112883538, and I only received a reply after 7 days from the appeal team. Now I also have to wait another 1-3 days for it to be restored, I may lose all my funds.
I’m also experiencing this issue, submitted a support ticket 9 days ago, got the “We have forwarded your request for further review” response after a day and haven’t gotten a response since. The revenue I made from the bundle has already been partially refunded without even getting a response yet.
We’re working on improving the Zendesk appeal flow to ensure appeals are resolved before any refunds are issued. In the meantime, please use the appeal portal if possible, which typically offers a shorter turnaround time for appeal decisions.

I sent an appeal ticket through the appeals portal and my account got terminated. The assets got removed, but one of them got restored but didn’t lift the termination on my account. To this day, the assets are being moderated and it’s spamming my emails with "Our moderation team has removed your audio Audio ID:
numbers here
" of the same email.
My note: He cleared his cookies on Devforum and cannot log back in for some odd reason.
Update: My appeal for my UGC item finally got a response over 2 months later. The item has been appealed and restored, but it was already refunded and removed from everyone’s inventory long ago by now.
Hi, thank you for the response I am glad to hear that progress is being made on this issue thank you very much. An issue with the appeals portal also, is that accessories uploaded to a group don’t appear in the appeals portal so you have to manually file a support ticket.
Recent items that have been taken down for me don’t show up in the appeals portal as they are all uploaded to my large community, however a bundle take down that was also uploaded to the group did show in the appeals portal, so likely the setting isn’t activated on accessories if this could also be implemented I would appreciate that, as for now appeals portal isn’t viable for the vast majority of my automoderation takedowns/concerns/appeals
