These are taking over Roblox. Along with the dark matter items, the shattered items, etc. It’s quite annoying.
(also on a side note, why is this a thing?
that’s the default blender cube? Is this person actually making money off of this? It’s low effort and low quality)

I agree with you that this UGC item has taken no effort at all to make. The item has gotten 8300+ sales which is just over 1000 USD. This shouldn’t be allowed.

What is also frustrating is that youtubers are getting access to the program, that already have an audience, while hard-working modelers on the platform are not.

Normally, I’m not one to do this, but I’m genuinely surprised this got passed QA: Cursed Hex Frenemy - Roblox
It’s so similar to Frenemy that I’m surprised it was allowed. I only bring this up because other items that were similar to ROBLOX-made ones weren’t allowed, or got deleted.

Members of the star program don’t have unlimited access to UGC, actually. According to this post they’re allowed 7 items maximum, with the one-per-month rule in place. I suspect it wasn’t intended to be used the way it is howeever

Roblox clearly don’t mind them. The only reason they were taken down is because angry LMaDers screamed and whined endlessly. Biggesthead, etc. would never have even been published if they were problematic.
Cursed Hex Frenemy is also more unique of the ‘Roblox Clones’ as they actually create a new and unique model, not just a ‘retexture’.

Low effort? That implies any effort at all. It’s just the default cube. It took no effort whatsoever to make it. There’s not even a texture.

Why are there so many star creators in the UGC program? Most of them don’t even know how to model, they let other people do it for them. I think this is pretty unfair for the people who are actually talented and are still not in the program.
