Now that you mention it, this issue is happening to two particular places: the place I mentioned in my post as well as this one:
Both places are animation places where we store rigs, models and animations. At some point the first animation place started lagging too much and loading stopped working, so we made a fresh, new animation place. We recently added around 20 new rigs to the second animation place (in addition to the tens of rigs that were already in there) and it might have just been too much, as the exact same thing is happening as with the original animation place. This is very unfortunate though because we need to finish the characters for our update scheduled july 5th.
Besides these two places, no other places are causing this issue.

Thanks for reporting this issue. I’m sorry that you are experiencing issues joining your Team Create place. I looked into this issue and it appears that your place is running out of memory. You won’t be able to open the place in Team Create until the memory is reduced, so I would suggest turning off Team Create and reducing the memory, before turning it back on.
