Ever since our group switched to the new group roles provided by Roblox, we’ve been unable to open previous versions of our game in Roblox Studio. The issue occurs consistently for all developers in the group.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open Roblox Studio.
Navigate to the “Version History” of a game owned by a group that has been switched to the new group roles.
Select an older version and click “Open.”
Observe the error message:
We could not open the place [0]. HTTP 409 (Conflict) If you continue to encounter this error, please report it on the Developer Forum. Incident ID: 5888625479973464651

Expected behavior
Older versions of the game should open successfully in Roblox Studio, allowing developers to view or restore previous builds without encountering any errors.
Thank you for the report! Apologies for the bug, we are working on updating this flow now.
For now, if your team requires editors to open older versions of the game, please continue to use the older group permission for edit, ‘Create and edit community experiences’.
@Bluegamerdog@sealloomsupplies I also experience this issue for games that aren’t under groups, but have Team Create enabled. When I attempt to open old versions from inside of studio, it just crashes upon trying to load the place. If I attempt to download old places through the Creator Dashboard, it just downloads a 4 byte rbxl that contains the string null
