I am unable to publish audio assets to the creator store. Ive been verified (ID verified) and the website believes I am able to publish assets to the creator store.
Else the audio is over 10 seconds, or it was rejected for distribution cause it was marked as “Music” instead of “Sound Effect”, it isn’t a bug.
In recent days, when I checked the configure page, on my end it was the other way around; it claimed that my audio assets were eligible for distribution even if they were longer than 10 seconds, but I was unable to determine whether it worked because I do not yet plan to become ID verified.
I listened to your audio files and they all have musical chimes in them. This means they are classified as music and are ineligible for public distribution on the creator store.
Most of those assets were uploaded in 2021-2022 which was before we updated the system for public sound effects in March this year. We now require the extra sfx check before allowing distribution as Blanka mentioned above.
https://create.roblox.com/store/asset/17514074119/Russian-Metro-UPPS-chime-sound-variant-2?keyword=metro%2Bchime&pageNumber=1&pagePosition=1 is the only one that was uploaded after the public sfx launch. I think this one is less musical as it is three descending tones. The system to check for sfx is not perfect but the main thing we are trying to do is encourage uploads of non-musical sound effects. This unfortunately means we block distribution of sound effects that have musical elements in them. You can still upload these assets privately to use in your own or your group’s experiences.
The Smallville Announcement audio does not contain music but contains a voice which is borderline since music can contain vocal elements. If you reduce the echo to make is sound more like a regular person talking it may work. You can add back in the echo with our dynamic audio effects Dynamic Effects | Documentation - Roblox Creator Hub
