The service is down. A good way to get around this is to utilize the Import Avatar feature in the Avatar tab.

i used the import 3d button in roblox studio instead and it worked

Yeah that feature* I have a habbit of calling it the Avatar Importer. It would be fixed soon I suppose. Probably just a service disruption as usual…
