Untracked memory default from roblox?

I was wondering why my game had 135mb untracked memory even though I cleanup everything.
I tried in an empty baseplate, and found 130mb untracked memory in an empty baseplate, no scripts no parts, which is pretty weird…

  • It keeps increasing, and not decreasing…

ironic that it’s called UntrackedMemory when you can track it

honestly, my best guess would be the built-in scripts like Animate and Health are working

Issue is still occurring, good to know…

Wow, a whole month & not even a response.

  • Reason 1 they forgot about it
  • Reason 2 they don’t care at all

This keeps happening to me too
Not just on baseplates my experience too
My current experience I’m making has around 200MB - 500MB of untracked memory and I don’t know what is causing it
It’s not a script issue cause when I disabled all my scripts it was still there
It changes whenever I join too and my other developers notice it too
It would be nice if this “UntrackedMemory” had like a drop down window telling you what is causing it :sob:

noticed this recently aswell on my games. Idk if a new roblox update is having a memory leak. Before I didnt have any untracked memory

Answer: There’s a memory leak in Roblox’s scripts.

so is it always like this or are we gonna have to edit the roblox scripts
