Upcoming Changes to Avatar Catalog Upload Requirements

Yeah I got lucky with my devs. They’re friends of mine

I have my family and PIXFUI on my list lol

It’s also hilarious that other people do the same thing, but when they do it everyone shrugs it off. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, like it or not.
Sheesh.

not so nice word , you should just fire them in the future. They work for you, you don’t need to take that kind of crap.

Oooh! Hiiiiii.

Yeh I’ve been trying a new angle with the general homestore thing, it’s more of a mix of being a game and a homestore now.

I’m a designer, and I have enough robux to upload stuff, but I’m not paying 100 robux just to upload it.

Even though I don’t agree with the upload fee, I am thankful it is only 10 robux.

Holy crap, yes! I managed to upload my uniforms right before this was a thing, thank god! I have 10 ranks with 4 uniforms each, that would cost me 400 robux per department, add onto that 100 robux to create the group itself, and around 200 robux to create the group roles. That’s about 700 robux just for one department! Most police RP games have tactical teams, which have an additional 5-6 ranks, not to mentions having multiple departments, and so on. This is just killing for small groups!

I see that many people are trying to find alternative ways to prevent botting and not destroy smaller groups and I think I might of thought of a few that could work.

  • Option 1 is that you make it so you have to have dev forum member or above to upload clothing. There is a lot of time to the perms in the first place. Overall it could help as not that many people use the forum despite it being quite useful. The only problem is that you need to be 13+ to use it so kids couldn’t make clothing anymore.

  • Option 2 is you make it a thing where you have to apply for it like ugc. It would be a slow and manual process so it probably wouldn’t work too well.

  • Option 3 is you only allow people who are the owner or have perms to make clothing on the group to see the template. This is based off of @Paxerian original idea. Like he says “I’m aware this won’t solve every problem, especially with already stolen assets” but it could help.

Just some random thoughts I had and saw that could be better.

Why was this closed?

Still not in support of this now that it’s rolled out to everyone, I’d prefer Premium to upload.

Yeah I guess, It’s a kind of a bad update, but people MIGHT just MIGHT earn more robux off selling them for free, WHICH makes another way for free robux but you gotta give so kinda gambling

Great update!! I am very excited!

It’s out, pretty nice mistake you did right there.

It is also keeping some of us designers group stores from updating. Terrible update and they can’t even fix the issue they made.

Personally, I did not like this update. Everyone says it’s better because premium is no longer needed, but if you couldn’t afford that, how will you afford the robux fee? I believe it should have been premium users upload free, and other users have the fee. I understand this was a step trying to discourage bots, but at this point, they make enough robux to the point the fee doesn’t even affect them. Right idea, wrong execution.

Hey, @givenothingback . I would like to ask a question. If for example, I upload a clothing asset (I pay 10 robux). Does it cost anything to put it on sale, do you have a monthly payement or you don’t pay anything else than 10 robux?
