It’s literally just a fee for uploading, nothing else

hold up, where can you find the video/list of instructions? I’ve been struggling with this problem ever since the update has been rolled out. D:
I’ve tried testing my templates via models in Studio but got moderated for doing so…idk why either…I did that to ensure all my templates are complete and I could upload them after without any problem. (That happened before the update was rolled out, idk what about now)

I completely forgot you could test by Studio, how do you actually test templates?

This is possibly one of the most upsetting updates I have ever witnessed. As a small clothing designer, most of us only get 1-2 sales per piece of clothing uploaded. We will profit almost no Robux at all. Lets not forget the amount of copied clothing in the catalog. This update does not help that issue. I have noticed Roblox not treating our beloved designers very well. This update does not help.

Roblox is slowly removing Premium benefits, making users with premium not have as many benefits as we used to. This is outrageous. I am speaking for myself and the other unnoticed clothing designers with premium, that this update is very disappointing.

Due to this update I am planning to cancel my premium subscription. I bought premium in the first place to have the ability to upload clothes, now I no longer need it. I am very disappointed as I expected more benefits for us premium members and possibly Roblox supporting clothing designers this year, but I guess not. (I am not trying to be rude, but I am just stating my thoughts.) Thank you for reading this, as I have put a lot of feelings into these couple paragraphs.

It’s a bad update for newly clothing Makers/Designers.

Because 10 Robux a way expensive for Average Roblox Players but cheaper for Bot Groups/Designers.

Like theres too many botted & stolen clothes on front page and that clothes made by rich groups.

But original and average clothing makers still can’t upload because of the fee and this update messing with peoples imagination.

If this update was for only deal with bots it should be ‘‘1’’ Robux to upload a clothing, not ‘‘10’’ Robux.

Idk, seems like an over-reaction for 10 robux per upload, 88 robux is literally $1 USD == at least 8 uploads and with some traction the sales could easily make up for the 10 robuix granted you just sell 4 shirts for 5 robux each, only 2 if you sell for 10. Saves me money with having to buy premium due to being able to self sustain, mildly annoying when you accidentally mess up a template and waste 10 though.

I understand that you want to make it available to all users- but I think you should have the option to upload it for free if you do have premium- otherwise premium is a waste of money and premium users have to spend double in order to upload clothing. I bought premium pretty much to trade and to upload clothing, and I got scammed and I’m waiting for a rollback. In the meantime, I can’t trade, and the other day I went to upload a shirt but it said it costed 10 robux. I think it should only cost 10 robux to upload if you aren’t premium, because that’s an absolutely ridiculous price to pay for 1 shirt or pants to be uploaded, especially if you’re premium, which I think in that case it should be free.

I actually have no idea on how people do this in general, but what I usually do is I would get a model and use the templates you saved into the model so you could see how it’ll look like. It gave me a few moderated warnings though.

There’s no way this happened. I come back to roblox to see this. Absolutely outrageous. So what even is premium anymore? A waste of money? It should at least be 10 robux if you don’t have premium, and free if you do. This is so stupid and gatekeeps smaller designers from even having a chace to make profit.

Although I can’t at the top of my head come up with a solution myself, this update created a new problem. Sometimes I would buy a shirt, only later on to see it deleted because it turned out to be copied and I don’t get a refund of any kind. A loss of 5 robux doesn’t seem like a lot, but it quickly adds up when you go on a shopping spree.

What really makes me mad is when there are copiers on here claiming to be original designers liking our posts yet they are copying our designs. You know who you are and you’re the reason we have this damn upload fee. Now I have to stop what I am doing and make a couple DMCA reports cause you copied some of my designs. Gg unnamed person. I hope your copy group gets locked when I’m finished.

It is 10 robux, if you didn’t notice. A reasonable fee, but useless imo.

Legitimately the worst update I have ever seen.

Anyone else getting double charged? Now 10 bux to upload and 10 to put on sale?

Honestly, this issue really swept a portion of clothing designers off the clothing design industry.
I have too. Many of us probably lost motivation in clothing design and so we left the design community.

10 robux is too much to even generate sufficient profit especially after roblox decides to take away 30% of our profit and now roblox is taking away more robux.

And I’m aware this issue is now almost normalised and no one ever talks about it anymore but there’s something about the upload fee that I feel is just too…unfair.

It’s just kinda unreasonable weighing the pros and cons of the upload fee to me.

sorry i was just ranting don’t come at me plz.

tbh, im also concerned that roblox would continue to roll out further updates which basically takes more of our profits bc this update is already devastating enough for small designers to make enough profit. so gradual bad updates could really worsen the state of the clothing design community.

Don’t really need financial training to see that what is going on is a disaster.

It was suppose to fix the issue. I’m still not seeing it. It might have slowed the problem but it is temporary, and the copiers will find a way around it.
