Someone said that the wave passed at 8:30 AM GMT+8 on 5th of October, so my guess would be in around 5 hours

Are you sure about that? I meet the requirement as a contributor with 10k followers, and a game owner with over 1M hours over last 3 months 
Even if you meet the requirements, you still have to rely on luck
I’ve not heard of anyone getting it this month… surely the wave hasnt happened yet? I know a few people who meet the criteria but havent had anything too.

I have still been keeping track of the waves and I can confirm that the wave has not passed yet, do not listen to random posts on here, I will try to post whenever the next wave passes.
Though, here are all the previous waves based on UTC+1, there is no clear pattern.

and today is Friday it never been on Saturday or Sunday and once in Monday but because they had vacation and it got delayed to the 18th so it has high chance that it will happen Today!

I just changed my verification method yesterday. Will this affect anything?

You require a verified Email address, verified ID and Authenticator as your 2step in order to get verified. I’m unsure but given that you changed your method yesterday, it may have an effect. Whoever checks for eligibility sometimes checks weeks in advance so if you did not meet the 2step criteria then they might skip you for this wave, unfortunately. They are not transparent enough for us to monitor this though.

it seems like it will happen in the 18th like last year
The wave that happened on December 18th 2023 was a compensatory wave that granted Contributors & UGC Creators the badge as it should, Roblox Staff told me to file a bug report as all the previous waves did not verify anyone besides front page game owners.
After doing that, they made a 2nd wave soon after for December & therefore there was no wave for January 2024. This current wave is either taking so long because they are busy/lazy or redoing the system [even if unlikely].
