Initial screenshot was misleading due to how small it is. In practice, there’s so much wasted space since Studio is almost always maximized. I don’t like having to click to the recent tab to see things that could be visible with all the wasted space on the home page. I’m all for simplification, but when afterwards the changes make tasks take more steps for the end user, you’re doing something wrong.
I also agree with some above posts that you shouldn’t hide the toolbar, it makes it so you have to open a place to do things like configure plugins which don’t actually require a place to be open. I also agree that there should be a “view startpage” button. Because this was removed, you have to go to the website to open places when you already have a Studio window open.
You can design a clean interface without removing features. Please understand that.
