[Updates] Space Shuttle Recreation

Back again with the progress of our space shuttle mission roster. We’re currently on STS-41D and pushing forward with our program at an easy pace. Just wanted to give a few updates on our progress, you can find more cool information on this program and it’s features/development here:

Space Shuttle Rendition

General Overview Basically a passion project to recreate the Space Shuttle Program with accuracy that pushes the limits of what Roblox is capable of handling. We’ve gotten a start from STS-1/9 and will continue to progress through each mission until STS-135. We’re currently revamping our entire system and rebuilding assets after several exploits have resulted in our assets being leaked. We’re using this as an opportunity to bounce back and not only freshen, but simplify and streamline our progr…

Biggest misfortune thus far has been exploits such as Synapse X stealing our assets. It’s a tragedy that we must battle these issues to prevent our models from being leaked.

Amazing! How many triangles is the shuttle in a whole again?

Original model was 5,000,000 polys. Sectioned the shuttle into about 100 pieces without compromising on quality.

Wow! This is so realistic. I’m impressed by all the little details. Like the RCS thrusters. I also find the fact that you’re actually orbiting the earth to be quite impressive. Bravo.

The linked page describes the majority of it. We’re using it as a passion project to complete all Space Shuttle missions. We are also working on an ISS roleplay on the side.
