Can you guys add invite links that just include a place and job ID in the url? This would be useful for a game that publishes to a webhook whenever a certain server has an ongoing event, and a real player can’t create an invite link. Perhaps it would look like: roblox.com/share?type=Server&place=PLACEID&job=JOBID

I never loved the chat message from System when your friend was joining, becuase your chat can be closed, but now it got replaced by pop up!

So there doesn’t seem to be any way of preventing these from showing up.
I’d really like to be able to customize/disable some of them, but if Roblox doesn’t want to allow that, could we at least get some events that go along with all of these new notifications, firing with the notification’s current status? (e.g. when the notification is shown, hidden, or responded to)
We could also use an event for when a player receives a call from someone as well, since that also creates a notification.
I think it is rude in a way that this LARGE invite pops up in-game, whereas, it would be much better if it’s a smaller TAG in the top middle would glow or light up for attention, then one could swipe up to get rid of it.
It is quite fine to seek your friends and join them, but this is a bit too much, being a big sign while you are playing, likely to interfere visually.
When you look for friends… you most likely are OUT of an experience.
If you do the search inside an experience, that is a choice & quite fine.
Maybe make it smaller… and OUT of the way.
We won’t be provided such things, I can assure you that.
The “Your friend has moved to a restricted part of the experience” banner appears even if the person you joined isn’t your friend (if somebody has their joins on)
Is this feature slowly rolling out? Because all of my friends plus my alt account already have this feature enabled but my main account does not have this feature yet.

Good now it doesn’t go to their chat where no one looks.
I know this is old but is there any way to disable this? I’m working on a game and if players join after the game starts they spawn in as invisible ghosts for spectating and having the “USER has joined you!” at the top of their screen really ruins the immersion especially since you’ll never see that player in the game at all.

Is it possible to enable/disable this feature for accounts? My account hasn’t yet unlocked this feature for some weird reason.
and LaunchData still doesn’t work like always… so it’s still useless
An event like LocalPlayer.JoinNotification() would be a really nice feature, which if connected to would disable this banner.
Devs could then use that function to either “disable”, or make a more fitting notification that:
- Matches the game’s style better (These banners do not fit my game’s ui style.)
- Wait for a good time to send the notification (Immersion like @ResumavoidDev said)…
This banner doesn’t fit well in many games with strict UI style, and can ruin immersion when popping up at certain times, I hope a solution is made for this issue.
(Even banner customization at the minimum; BackgroundColor3, BackgroundTransparency, CornerSize)
Just store launch data in a table and set the index to the invited players userId, when a player joins check if their userId is in the table, apply the variables, remove the entry from the table
I don’t know if this a bug or not, but as of recent, me and my friends have not been getting these while others have. Is there a setting related to these? I used to get these and I don’t know what changed.
Will this feature remain available for users of all ages (with notification when the website / app is open) now that chat outside of experiences has been removed for users under 13? Or does it pose a safety risk even if the other user cannot access the game due to its content maturity status?
Previously, a good use example of the website chat was for those users to recommend games to each other and discuss which ones they like to join the most.
