Clear your HTTP cache in %localappdata%\Temp\Roblox\http and try again. I’ve had this issue but clearing out http cache solved it.
This sadly does not fix the issue for me at all.

I’m playing on a Windows 11 PC with an RTX 2070, 16GB RAM with an Intel Core i7.
I believe this has been fixed. You can clear the http cache and try again. Let me know if you are still having issues.
The new materials are LIT! Seriously, good job.
Two little suggestions from me:
- Add highlighting of the material(s) of currently selected objects
- Add name pop-up when hovering on materials if the grid size is too small to display names all the time
Bug: “Apply to Selected Parts” does not make a ChangeHistoryService entry
We’re live with these materials on Jailbreak! And feedback is overwhelmingly positive!
I know you told us to wait a few weeks but we really wanted to push this after we saw iPhones gain material support this past week. Plus you guys patched the blinding material bug. Thanks for both of those! It was such perfect timing.

We’re also using our own sand. Looks amazing at night with the moonlight bouncing off.

Finally, Material Service is live. This is one of the best updates we’ve gotten in a long time.
I hope to see the water terrain material available for parts and unions too. Preferably with different water properties for each, but I can live without that for now. It’s just that current terrain water is very limited. Terrain in general is limited to this 4x4 grid, which means you can’t do a lot of fancier things without making your own custom water. Custom water is fine and all, but it would be a shame to waste the built-in terrain water just because of its inherit limitations. But anyway, love the new material updates

I think it was a very wise choice to add it as an optional feature and after the implementation of MaterialService for those who do not want the new materials.
Loving most of the materials, however grass still feels a bit off. On terrain it looks decent with the grass decorations, however on parts the tiling is very obvious.

It also give me an error saying " Failed to upload asset rbxtemp://0 red_brick_03_diff_4k.jpg "
This sounds like either a network issue, or a temporary server issue. Is it failing to upload online for a specific texture?
I tried uploading 2 different textures and both of them did not work
I went from being unable to upload heightmaps to the whole service being unusable entirely. I can’t upload anything.
If it’s about uploading image assets, I’ve had that issue too. All you need to do is head over to Image > Search > “Enter” key and then you can upload image assets from your computer. The change was made a while ago, before you were able to just hit the Image cell in Properties and upload from your computer. This could be related to your heightmaps uploading issue.
