Seems like you are trying to upload 4k texture? One thing to note is that we currently only supports 1k texture. You can try downres-ing your image.
The wording makes it sound like 4k support might be planned. If this is true, me and a lot of devs will rejoice.

Have you also tried to upload your texture maps using Asset Manager? I wonder if it might be the file size limit you’re hitting with your maps.
To be clear, if it’s 4k, it still should be possible to upload through Material Manager directly or Material Service, but it’ll be automatically sized down to 1024x1024.

I think if you guys add the MaterialPattern
property to parts in general rather than just MaterialVariant
s, This would fix a lot issues with obvious tiling in textures, the most obvious one being grass.
Bug: Slate material is dark at the bottom side when applied on terrain. (Only happens with 2022 Slate material)
Will there be a feature to add your own material slots? for materials and terrain. I’d like to be able to maybe, add another grass slot which is a different color to use in different areas of my map.

Now the remaining super-tiling ones may be fixed
If you are using some sort of custom PBR, you can enable “ORGANIC” to make the pattern completely random and get almost no tiling.
Hey. It seems like the update has rolled out to XBOX on some games on my end even though the public update isn’t announced. Is this intentional?
I highly doubt it, it would lag a lot of devices however it would be cool to see
Maybe it could work if textures were downscaled on lower end devices? The downscaler has improved recently
