First, check that the place or game is saved to Roblox, and it will work fine when you upload a file.
or if it crashes, open the auto-recovery file. When Roblox Studio crashes and you open it again, you will see a popup that says Auto Recovery Found. Click open and select the latest recovery (the highest number), like “Place_AutoRecovery_13” After you open the latest recovery, save the game to Roblox, and try uploading it. It should work.
In order to bypass studio closing. I narrowed down the crashing to when studio tries to create the actual model, like creating a new one from scratch. So what I basically did, was upload a model, with just a brick. Once that model was saved, I would upload the model by over-writing the model I just uploaded. (It was just a brick, so nothing lost.) Doing this bypassed the creation of a new model, and just over-writing a previous model. Therefore uploading the model as a whole.
just got this as well, i literally uploaded a model with 1 singular part and it always crashes, immediatly closes without any warning, no crash message nothing, this needs to be fixed
I’ve been dealing with these issues and I was trying to upload some electrical transformers for my upcoming game and I can’t seem to be able to upload. So I’m pretty much screwed unless if Roblox fixes this issue
That is a better image than Roblox just crashing! Have you opened your output and saw what the game was telling you? Whenever I get that error message it’s either because the name is not allowed, or the model has too many unions and could not upload them all.
Man, I think this problem’s been going on for 2 months for me now— I’ll check back tomorrow and see if I had any fix.
I’d also like to report that the first month I had problems, I restarted my computer and even redownloaded studio, no change back then. I couldn’t upload anything and it’d crash, creating an auto save. It literally wouldn’t let me upload for a month and a half (I’ll check back later and see if it’s 2 months now)
