To add to this, I joined both of your groups and I am locked inside and can not leave.
Yeah, that’s weird - I literally can’t leave the group. No error message, just a blank red box when I try to do so.
The only solution I’ve seen to fix this ownership bug so far (and mind you, it was posted on a roblox help reddit forum, so take it with a grain of salt) is to contact Roblox Support and hope that you talk to an actual representative who is capable of granting ownership to your account. I, however, have been unable to get a response that even acknowledges the issue at hand with most agents just giving me the copy-and-paste slop that has come to be a staple of Roblox Support. It’s very frustrating.
Even then, would it fix my own issue now of being imprisoned in 2 random groups, with no clear way of freedom?
That’s a good question. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Same problem here. Been in contact with “support” via email for MONTHS, with multiple tickets – no resolution.
My previous bug report has been ignored as well.

Unfortunately not, I don’t have any permissions at all.
I hope all three of you guys get your groups fixed. Especially now that I also have a stake in it.
I encountered the same issue and just emailed support about it. I created a Roblox group, but an error occurred, making it seem like the group wasn’t created. When I tried again, it said the name was taken. It turns out the group was created without an owner, and my Robux wasn’t deducted. Now, it shows me as the owner, but I can’t access the group settings.
Update roblox support wont help.
Yours appears to be fixed now, the Cheapsake group is still broken.
I am also facing the same problem as you.
I created a group called Rising Wind Community, and It did not give me the owner role. As a matter of fact the owner role is completely missing, and it set me as a member of my own group.

I am having the exact same issue with TWO different groups. I created two new groups “Vortex Security Archive” and “The Roblox Assault Team Archive”, and I am now permanently stuck in these groups, and when I try to leave, I just get a blank red banner at the top and an Internal Server Error in the webpage console. Tried contacting support multiple times and just got copy-paste responses every time. Somebody please help!
