For more information, this is because the page is spamming the users endpoint that gets one user at a time instead of using the endpoint intended for getting user information in bulk.
Adding to it, about 90% of the time, selecting those users will take you to a 404 page.
I filed a separate bug report for the random page errors I get when browsing the site, such as the 404 page.
