UV map has unwanted blurry/black lines?

I’m trying to create textures for blocks, however, I get these annoying black lines/blurs on some of the faces?

From this side, there’s a smooth transition

However, other sides aren’t as smooth, and there’s a noticeable black line around some of the edge

Here’s the texture used, as you can see, there’s no black used in the image, so there shouldn’t be this black outline/blur issue

You’ll want to use this:

The post also explains why this happens.

I get this problem inside blender tho too

Hello NinjoOnline,

If you get this problem is inside blender too then this issue shouldn’t be caused by Roblox,
try resolving the issue from blender first. However, to try and help resolve the issue…

I would suggest the following:

  • There might be an issue with the UV placement, check if it’s placed correctly.

  • There might be a setting that causes it to apply black lines at some edges.

  • Make sure your workspace is always clear before starting work and
try re inserting the Square mesh in blender [SHIFT + A] THEN add
the UV texture on it ,

I remember people having issue with using the
    default given Square shape,
so if you’ve used the default square you
might having some settings that you don’t want on it.

I hope this has helped, if not please tell me what you’ve tried and what results did you get.
Good luck Modeling!

Ummm…
Have you noticed that the texture has gaps in it?

Let me put this in a simpler way that I know of. You need to color a bit around the uv borders.

Just like in this picture below!

This should fix your problem, let me know if you have any questions.

(I can’t tell if your uvs are actually colored in correctly either so check that out)
