UV Tiling Options for MeshPart

I would like to see an option to tile textures according to the UVs of the asset.
This allows you do do things like use sprite-sheet-based textures on assets like rigged characters, where using the Texture Instance will not work since the object gets deformed or changes size.
Here is how this feature looks in Unity:

It would allow developers to use a mix of 3D and 2D texture animation styles, like making 3D particles with sprite-sheet animations, or characters that use a mix of 3D and 2D animation, i.e. 3D body and 2D face.
