Vanilla 3 - The pragmatic icon set for Roblox Studio

I was only able to test the website on Chrome, Firefox and Safari. You can use one of those browsers, or any browser based on them.

For example, I’m using the latest Microsoft Edge, which runs Chromium. In your case, I’d suggest giving Firefox a go!

(Make sure your browser is up to date too - the Vanilla website uses some modern features)

If you were using custom icons before, you’ll need to unassign them properly. I’m not 100% sure how Mod Manager handles this specifically, but this looks like you’re attempting to use a modified ReflectionMetadata which was built for a different icon set.

This is really cool! I’ve tried installing it the manual way, I went to the latest version folder and dropped the ClassImages.Png into the textures folder, all good. But for some reason my Studio still has the same old icons, not quite sure what I’ve done wrong.

Make sure you’re selecting the latest version of Studio. I would highly recommend you use Roblox Studio Mod Manager however, as it automatically applies the icons whenever Studio updates so you don’t have to.

SeaMonkey is based on Firefox 60 so that explains why it wont work
I used to use Firefox but switched to SeaMonkey
SeaMonkey shows the generating files screen for a split second then offers no download
Edge seems like the best bet since it does the generating files so I am going to try that again

SeaMonkey is able to use new YouTube, new reddit and all of these other websites so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work on Vanilla

EDIT: Edge doesnt work

This is amazing! The default Roblox icons are horrendous, and this gives it a much-needed makeover.

If I was Roblox, I’d just pay you several thousand dollars for these and add them directly into Studio :stuck_out_tongue:

Hopefully this becomes possible too in the future.

These icons look so good, would you ever do a fluent design style version?

Try using Firefox? I believe Seamonkey is based on Firefox. I don’t blame you for not using Chrome, I stick with Opera and Chromium Edge (I also have the classic version).

I’m not sure if Firefox 60 is an ESR but 52 works for those sites as well (I’ve tried watching YouTube in Windows XP and it was fine), I really don’t know why the GitHub page isn’t working.

Wow! This is really cool. This should help to keep my explorer organized!

I don’t think you can…

Technically yes, but not easily. You’d need to find all the images in Roblox’s install folder and replace them. That’ll be quite a time consuming process because, based on the quick look I took, they seem to be scattered across many different folders.

SO COOL! How can we contribute to adding more assets?

Actually, they are, Studio exposes a RibbonBar.xml file, I’ve done some funny memes with them.

The problem is the Lua plugins hijacking certain buttons such as the draggers and terrain.

This looks amazing, thank you for this. If only Roblox gave us power to customize more…

It works with VS Code as well!

I don’t plan on releasing a Fluent Design version of Vanilla - that’d be better suited to it’s own icon pack I think :slightly_smiling_face:
