Violations & Appeals missing violations for UGC categories

Users have experienced this on a variety of categories, but most certainly, it is bugged with layered clothing. There’s been hundreds of instances articles of clothing deleted, and users are yet to receive a single violation in which they can appeal. This is an issue because the current process of appealing items, especially via support, is slow and lengthy, and often even delay the process by saying they’ll follow up a second time. This can also appear to be bugged for accessories, but it happens less often.

This causes multiple problems;

  • Delayed access to reaching DevEx requirements

Without being able to submit an initial appeal for these claims, large creators risk being declined from submitting a developer exchange because of previous violations.

  • Stacked bans

Creators who upload variations of layered clothing, including holdables, body suits, etc, risk interfering with future TOS changes which Roblox decides to make. Receiving no violation notice means they tread a very thin line between a 7 day ban or being permanently terminated, without being able to contact support for who knows how long :grimacing:

  • Funds tarnished

A week after your item has been deleted, funds immediately start to be removed. This is extremely frustrating, especially for creators who would of knowingly had their items restored if they hadn’t of gone through the normal appeals process, which can take up to a month.

Expected behavior

If fixed, I would expect every UGC category to receive violations in which they can appeal, for obvious reasons stated above.

Thanks, I’ll update with my support ticket appeal status just incase they already have decided it is against TOS

Just realized this guy is one of the biggest abusers of validation exploits right now.
The asset he’s appealing is an LC Korblox leg with nearly 30K favorites—-he’s lost a few million Robux from it so it makes sense… :joy:

If I were you, I’d be happy your 500 other Korblox clones have stayed up for this long.

There’s a good chance this one was manually deleted by an engineer, as a matter of fact.

I humbly request that engineers make sure this item is not reinstated. :grinning:

I’ve described in detail what this item is in my private message aswell as engineers DMS; All I’m asking for is for layered clothing to get the proper appeals process. Whether or not this is considered violative is up to them

Also calling it “Korblox” is deceptive, it does not share any qualities besides being a triangle

You know exactly what you’re doing my friend

For reference:

^ I’m in no way trying to be deceptive to the appeals process, All I’m asking is for a proper evaluation of my item. Support can take a while as I’ve listed in my bug report

@trainthethomas1013 Could you please let us know what your logged in user is?

Do you have a screenshot that you could provide searching for asset id from the appeals portal?

Thank you

My username is trainthethomas1013

The latest violation I received was on a bundle, April 23rd while my layered clothing was deleted 2 days ago (April 30th) and I have no violation for a layered clothing accessory being deleted

Thank you for input to help debug this. I will close this one and we will follow up on Violations & Appeals Portal doesn't show new moderation entries - #4 by dvdko

We’ve made progress and identified missing appeals in appeals portal for a subset of violations. Plese continue to fall back to the support based appeals process while we work to root cause the issue and work on fixes.

Thank you
