Voice Chat setting randomly disappearing

It seems like an ongoing issue from 2023 and I havent found a permanent solution for this myself.
( Ex. Voice Chat Perms Randomly Gone )

I’ve been able to use voice chat since launch and as of last week the setting is disappearing. In https://voice.roblox.com/v1/settings I get this:

I am unable to communicate nor hear others within games.

The most common approach to this is usually re-adding the phone number or logging in again, which frankly doesn’t work all the time and within a couple hours it disappears again and it is getting annoying.

I am writing this because -even though it seems to be rare- some people have been having this issue and in Roblox Support the AI always replies that it is a known issue and there is no estimated time for a fix.

Since i couldnt find a solution and no clear response from AI -Including Roblox Staff from the link above- I wanted to write it down here because I dont know how this is happening to me out of nowhere and how there hasnt been a fix to this for almost a year

Your Voice chat may keep disappearing maybe because

  • You have poor connection to the server(Check your ping?)
  • You keep joining a non-VC supportable game

You should probably try ID verification to see if it works.

You can also try to switch devices?

The setting disappearing has nothing to do with games within the platform or devices used.
And as I said, I’ve had Voice Chat since launch which you had to do ID verification to try it.
