most ugc face mask stuff are classic face and people don’t want dynamic head for reason
I don’t think new players who wearing classic face are nostalgic

Yup, for some reason they thought it was a good idea to update the HEADLESS HORSEMAN with a new dynamic version…
Literally all they did was give it the old Stevie Standard model and set its transparency to 1, and I guess for the lolz they gave it the anime mood
To make this even worse, since SpecialMeshes don’t support transparency(?) they actually broke the R6 version of the new head
To top it all off, they made the bundle free for a whole hour somehow, nobody knows why or how.
While they’re not above replacing the classic heads with the new dynamic ones judging by this post, they haven’t gone and done that for this one yet so everyone who actually bought the bundle while it was actually on sale aren’t affected

if there wasnt enough controversy now, there definitely will be if they decide to roll out dynamic headless in that condition.
im safe from the dynamification beam for now, at least.
until, of course, they replace it with that disaster.
at least it’ll give me a reason to wear evil skeptic. until, yknow, that becomes a dynamic head too.
im convinced no amount of backlash will cause roblox to step back and reconsider a new approach to this update. i want to believe they wouldnt just ship products [especially product that is bought with actual currency] in a broken and bugged state but considering ive seen 11 years of this kind of stuff rinsing and repeating they clearly arent above that, which is extremely disappointing to say the least.

yeah, so basically all of us who got it for free were temporarily banned for 1 minute and the headless horseman was removed.
sad, ngl though if Roblox screws up, it’s not our fault that we bought it cuz it says free, and subsequently we bought it. fire the dang employee or idc but we got it LEGALLY. so don’t remove it. (tho they already did and i don’t see Roblox now undoing this

It’s funny you say that. I bought my headless horseman bundle around 2018 if I remember correctly. Today I lost my original headless head and was left with the new dynamic version. I can’t use headless for R6 anymore since I just get that glitched tacky looking head. I still have all the other parts of the bundle but the headless head I purchased is nowhere to be found. Not everyone has lost theirs as I have done some checking around. I am a bit shook over this since I knew nothing about this new dynamic version until this happened. I will say I do not like it whatsoever. I want the original back.

Does anyone know if Roblox restore the original headless if it was removed accidentally during the transition?
Praying it’s unintentional cause it’s so awful to look at in a previewer. But no clue why it only affects some of us, and not everyone yet. None of my friends have been forced to have this abomination.

I lost my original headless head after they decided to make it dynamic and I gave more than $300 for that bundle YEARS ago. This is a very bad move on their part.

Since my post they’ve fixed the issue with R6 by giving it the old mesh ID
But for some reason they wanted to change the R15 mesh, and now it’s using material transparency.

I will say this again… My PURCHASED headless horseman head was removed from my inventory and replaced by a version 2 headless dynamic headless head. I’m livid about it. Just how do you animate a “headless head”. It’s the one thing that truly should have been left alone. It’s a travesty to be honest. So when you tell players “If you want to switch back to an unanimated head, you can find your previous head in your inventory under Classic Head” this is NOT always the case. I’m not the only one affected by this and I can assure you not everyone is happy about this mess.

It’s crazy how fast they changed their minds on that, without even an announcement or anything. This makes me very scared of the future and how easily it’d be for them to delete all of the classic faces out of peoples inventories.
They seem to be rolling the new head out slowly since I still see people with the old one, it’s sad how little they’ve learned and they’re still rolling out inferior versions that replace the originals.

The dynamic heads would have been just fine if they would just leave the classic heads/faces alone. This is to extra for my taste. I’m not sure what they are trying to accomplish here but it’s not working out for the players so well.

While I think it’s pretty dumb that they’re removing previously-owned classic heads from your inventory, the new headless head is visually the exact same. It has the same attachment positions, etc.
My guess is that they wanted the head to be compatible with dynamic face accessories, e.g. beards and eyebrows. I remember people even asking for this when dynamic heads were first released. So if you’re wearing an accessory that deforms with your mouth when you talk, this will be reflected on the headless head as well.
The only real issue with the newer head is that you can’t preview it with BTRoblox correctly in R15.

The dynamic headless in R15 is fine for me but in R6 I have this ugly head that I just can’t seem to get past. I prefer the classic version of headless over this new mess they are pushing onto us. Especially since we paid a lot of money for it.

It was broken when it first released, but they got it fixed a few days ago.
