well no one is going to ask you to send the pics of your computer and all. its not lazy moderation, but a fault on your part. mods cant investigate 24/7 to see if user is underage.

I honestly don’t agree for two reasons.
If they don’t want to talk on voice chat doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re under 13. Personally, I know some 13+ users who never talk on voicechats unless the person is one who they are familiar with (e.g their
classmates) or simply sound like a ten year old kid.
Remember, your voice usually changes at the ages of 12 and 13.

I actually agree with you here.
I am 19 and I hate voice using voice chat for several reasons. Sometimes someone can be miss understanding and believe you said something wrong or you just don’t have the confidence to voice chat.
You have a better idea? Impersonations of 13+ is really hard to identify, especially if they put in fake information.
To be honest from my other experience from amazon, ebay, wish (even they where bad), Nintendo, curry’s pc world. Roblox is among the worst customer service in my life they don’t actually solve your issue instead they will ask you millions of questions then say that we can’t help you.
Along with reporting an user they tell you to use the report feature button like it isn’t our business.
On amazon you can use the report feature or contact customer service and then they will escalate a case kinda like Discord.
I can see ways now on how roblox can improve such as better customer service and report system but roblox aren’t going to sort that anytime soon.
Really the report feature is “only” and only there just to ease parents from worrying or / roblox getting into trouble on other reasons not having a report abuse feature.

I saw random users on the forum (not gonna say name) who seems to have been underage. For example:
User puts in their bio: Hello my name is (…) and I am 13/14 years old! And the join date of the forum is 2018 or so.
Hm.

Sometimes, if a user is underage, they suspend the user until they are 13. For example, if a user says they are 11, they will suspend them for two years so by the time the suspension is over, they are 13.

What also happens is that an underage user will tell DevRel the date they turn 13 and suspend them until that day.
This is why you see users who joined before they were 13 sometimes.

I think that the new id verify might work though.
But it would be an invasion of privacy.

We do not need ID verification on this forum. Roblox has been moving in the direction of making this forum all-inclusive, and ID verification would prevent many developers from getting access to development support.

Can I just mention to this topic that the new talenthub is for all ages which makes (us developers) have more underage people contacting us for jobs.
When I posted this forum this was for the collaboration board. Which has now shutdown and now security has got even worse.

But you’re basically only looking at “verified” users in the Talent Hub. Also, the Talent Hub provides security with these “verified” check marks.

The talenthub is really unsupported. As myself I am over 13 and I can’t seem to verify my account on it. Regardless to that its harder to get jobs and it’s horrible to use on mobile.
But rant over judging people on who verified or not Is helping but don’t you know that 50% of the roblox Community lie about their age so they can speak without their message being tagged every 5 minutes?

Why would age matter? Behavior matters. If they’re fit for the job then they’re fit for the job. I don’t understand why people fuss over age like it’s some universal indicator of maturity or fitness for the task at hand.
If they’re immature and toxic then throw them out. If they’re a reasonable person, does their age really matter that much?
You “caught” them underaged? Like, being underaged is a crime? LOL.
This makes me sorry for the younger generation.

It’s also a legal matter. By law, users under the age of 13 cannot use this site (see COPPA)
