Weird bumps on 3d clothing in blender

I’m currently making some 3d clothes in Blender for a custom avatar, and when I added the solidify modifier to the newly cut clothes, it causes these weird bumps and spikes to show up on its surface.

Referring to this post, I had smoothened it somewhat, however, it’s still a bit noticeable.

TL;DR: Since Roblox is down, I’m wondering if anyone has any past experience with this sort of stuff and if these bumps on the surface will carry over when I import the avatar to Studio.

For a start, what you made in the blender? It’s just not clear.

That doesn’t matter, I’m just curious if these bumps on the mesh’s surface carries over to studio when using the avatar importer.

Migrating Heads and Accessories to be MeshParts

I solved the problem by changing the mesh merge distance to 0.01m, then adding a subdivision modifier with these properties.

Sorry for being late but I think your normals were messed up in the first image. Don’t worry this is a common problem. Just tab into edit mode, select all with A, and press Shift + N to recalculate normals, I believe.
