Weird mesh color changes in-game, it's fine in studio

I have questions… I haven’t seen this before so may not be able to help but I am curious …
Is this a group game by any chance?
Does your pumpkin have the same texture as the wood meshes? Because it changes from orange to green as well.
And what are the properties of the meshes? - reflectance and such
Do you have any scripted properties or functions for these meshes? ie Are they supposed to change when something touches them?

Most likely the textures are not loading for some reason. While playing the published game, hit ctrl+F9 to bring up the dev console, then select Log->Server. See if there are any errors showing up that can help troubleshoot.

Yes, they all share the same texture.

The properties are all default.
No scripted changes in any of these.

Nothing shows up sadly.

Like @veryennui said, do you have any scripts that could mess with it?

I also have some questions for you.

  1. Did you clone any of them with a different color?

  2. Did you have any it at a different color at first?

  3. Did you publish the game as that excact color?

  4. Do you happen to have any other players helping you with this project? When excactly did this happen?

Nope, it also looks like I’m not the only one with this issue.

Did you texture the meshes in blender or studio?

This could be happening from either a glitch, bad internet, studio is not loading properly, the game is slow to load, or because a player is messing with it.

Here are some more reasons

Maybe your game is just messing up or since they are the same texture you probably had it touching grass & changed the colors to green like your grass.

You should try tapping them as the colors at a time.
Maybe also you could try making the grass a certain color like a different shade of green and trying again saving the game.

  1. Nope.
  2. Nope.
  3. Yep.
  4. Just me. It was fine before and after I published once this happened. Reverting hasn’t fixed it.

When excactly did this problem happen to you? Did you have the ones that changed color all selected and on the paint bucket on accident?

I did try this. Only thing that makes a difference is removing the texture from a meshpart. Otherwise, everything becomes green-ish during run time.

Nope. I didn’t change anything with the colors(it’s a texture anyways). The publish was literally changing the position of one part.

Wait! Are you saying you used a decal? Or you just painted the texture.

I’m having this issue as well, I’ve run various tests to find the cause but lighting and scripts don’t seem to affect it c:

Decals can glitch. I recommend using the paint bucket instead this could be your problem!

Your lighting isn’t working? I’ve saw that image before. I see what’s going on what did you use to make it. I can try to solve it.

I used blender to make all the assets and then just placed them into studio.

Did you make sure that you selected the whole creation? Maybe you left out the lighting piece? You could’ve accidentally deleted it or it just doesn’t work in Roblox Studio.

If I’m not the only person who is having this issue, I’m going to send it off to bug support
