So, I went to import my gun mesh so I can start coding it for fun, but realized that the mesh downgrades when you hit play. It is currently a tool, and i’m always in the max graphics settings.
Anyone know what’s causing this?

Excuse me, wrong category.
Scenarios
There are three possible scenarios:
A: The latest mesh LoD update.
B: The latest mesh geometry update.
C: Parenting to character.

Same issues.
So I’ve been creating some morphs for a 2.0 package. It was all going fine until quite recently, actually. Other morphs didn’t have the same issue, though the previous morphs were a lot simpler than this.
I’m certain that it isn’t an issue with the mesh’s normals.
The left model is with a humanoid. The right is without.

Any ideas what this issue could be?
I’m worried I may not be able to create the game I was hoping to create. Either way, …
Meshparts that have recently been uploaded to Roblox will now break if they are exported back as .obj files. It appears to be the normal model with a decimated version merged together. I have reason to believe that this might have something to do with RenderFidelity.
Meshparts that were uploaded prior to this update are not affected by this.
How to replicate:
Import a .fbx or .obj file as Meshpart
Export the Meshpart as a .obj
Example:
Studio

Blender
[image%20(3)…
A solution is in the works:
[MeshLODTree]
There are a couple of known issues:
The fix for both of these will be released next week. A temporary workaround is to apply a texture to the meshParts.

Oh, I just realized. It auto-directed me to portfolios since I was previously going to post here about something else.
The issue is not pressing the play button, it is with the mesh being in a model with a humanoid. I believe ROBLOX is trying to fix this ASAP.
