Woops, sorry I did the texturing/modelling myself yes and the selection is just a brush tool I think? Must’ve been caught in the screenshot (I use Gyazo)
If you want to look at cool texturing programs search for Quixel and/or Substance Painter/Designer. One works directly inside photoshop and the other is a standalone.
On a side note it’s a HUGE SHAME ROBLOX doesn’t support any type of texture maps (bump, spec. etc) because it would make things like this so much nicer.
Not Roblox (it will be soon thanks to Spotco), but it is something I am working on, and hopefully will now call done.
And, should we consider pinning this thread? Doubt it will die soon, but it is a bit painful to have to scroll to find it.

Really hard to show you unless you’ve got a Vive, but I’m trying to make a toolset for making multiplayer VR roomscale games (with both FE and SE support). I got it so hand / head position is completely client driven, making use of SetNetworkOwnership to give full physics control to the client and minimize overhead (the alternative was a bajillion calls to a RemoteEvent.)
Forcefully moving the player is done by moving the camera (i.e., teleportation, walking if you’re evil)
HeadScale is accounted for
Other players can tell where your headset and controllers are
You can use any existing CameraScript assuming it doesn’t mess with HeadLocked
Right now in planning phase is the VR equivalent of tools and tool inventory, what I’m calling Swiss Army Knife. Basically, a model which is welded to the controller that receives controller input from the hand its being held in (touchpad, touchpad button, trigger, grip buttons, menu button). This is how you’d implement something like a Teleport gun, a sword,a Grabber, etc.
I’m working on too many things…
Statue Defense is similar to a tower defense game. It’s quite basic at the moment but I’m looking to build on it.
Death in a Cold Climate is more of a serious, story driven game. It’s a tough concept to grapple and it doesn’t appeal to the majority of ROBLOX, as it’s single player, although I’m sure those who enjoy stories will enjoy it.
o-o is my building project on Hia1202, my earliest account. It’s a project I started earlier this week, and it’s already going pretty good; usually I lack inspiration!
